What would become Silent Banana Theatre actually began as two short plays, "An Unlikely Scenario" and "A Shocking Revelation," both written and performed by Pudgy Neuter in the early 1970's. Those stage productions (as well as this film) detail Mr. Neuter's struggles with identity and purpose, using the timeless fable of a naked banana on the prowl for cheap sex.
Really, it works on so many levels.
Note: this film contains banana nudity and references to ambiguous fruit sexuality.
