A lot of people ask us, "Is 'Chuck' (the cartoon) based on Chuck Palahniuk, the author of Fight Club?" So just to set the record straight, once and for all: Yes, it is. Well, no, it's not. Well... Yeah, I guess it sort of is. Okay okay how about this: it was initially to be based on his life. However, we realized early on that we had no information on Mr. Palahniuk, and worse yet, little or no interest in finding any. So instead we "re-imagined it," which is the fun Hollywood way of saying we decided to bullshit the entire thing. So long story short, this cartoon has nothing to do with Chuck Palahniuk, writer of Fight Club. Now please, stop threatening us, you crazy bastard.

Note for parents, kiddies, and expectant mothers: Chuck contains references to drug use, sexuality, and the television show All in the Family.  Parental discretion is not so much "advised" as is it "passively suggested."
