four.

Of course, it was all on the news that night.  As it was reported, Paul had apparently covered his body in writing using permanent black marker, and at approximately 5:30 am, had climbed into the driver’s seat of his 1996 Ford Taurus, wearing only a green bathrobe. There he  swallowed half a bottle of prescription sedatives. He sat there waiting, perched on the steep incline of 2nd street, until he began to lose consciousness. Then Paul discarded the robe, put the car in neutral, and let it coast.

The Taurus was probably going less than 25 miles an hour when it came to rest against the parked cars at the foot of the hill. Paul's driver-side door had come unhinged, allowing his naked body to spill out onto the open street. He didn’t look like an obvious victim of an accident, of a suicide, or even a corpse, for that matter – there were no visible wounds or injuries, and Paul appeared to be smiling, almost playfully.
